Leigh never 'tyres' of his success
When it comes to spare tyres, Leigh Keen is your man – and it's got nothing to do with his physique!
Leigh runs a successful mobile business called Tyres 2 You North West, which has helped thousands of road users to be safe, legal and satisfied.
The businessman has worked in the tyre industry for 18 years and has worked on anything that takes a tyre, from wheelbarrows to aircraft.
He now only deals with cars, vans and 4x4s. He can source, supply and fit anything within those categories and he comes to the home or workplace of customers.
He said: "Since school, I've worked in every aspect of the industry, in every role to do with tyres you can imagine, including Formula One, World Superbikes and International Rally Car teams.
Leigh re-located to Hoghton working with the Bowker BMW Group before branching out to set up Tyres 2 You North West.
"It was a big step, but I did my research, discovered a need and I've not regretted a minute," he said.
Leigh, who lives in Hoghton, has one van but it serves as a mobile workshop, portable office and a 'virtual warehouse'.
"Whether you have a small garage, a fleet of vehicles or one car at home, I come to you which offers great savings in time and money," he said.
"I have access to around 600,000 different tyres. Whatever is required, I can quote and arrange to supply and fit, if needed, at a convenient time.
"The system also allows me to drop in emergency jobs, which are unpredictable but an essential side of my work."
