It’s a case of out with the old and in with the new at a Chorley toy shop.
Hampson’s, in Market Street, is undergoing a major facelift and is set to relaunch next month.
The family run business, which has been trading in the town since the 1960s, will be brought in to the 21st Century with the work.
Shop manager Andrew Leathwood said: “It’s a bit like changing rooms at the shop at the moment.
“We decided to close in January to allow us to undergo a substantial re-fit and put in a new shop front.
“It will be a good thing for the business and the look of Market Street.”
