Police in Leyland are appealing for any information of a 17-year-old girl who is missing from home.
They are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Emily Salter who was last seen on Friday, August 29.

The youngster is believed to be in the Preston area.

She was last seen wearing a light grey zip-up hooded jacket and brown jeans and is described as being 5ft 5in tall, white, with a stocky build and with brown shoulder length hair.

Chief Inspector Bullas of the Lancashire Police said: "We would urge anyone who may have seen Emily or have any idea where she might be to get in touch with police.

"If Emily sees or hears this we want her to know that she is not in any trouble and that we just want to speak to her to know that she is safe and well."

If anyone has any information as to her whereabouts, they should contact Lancashire Police on 01772 410736.
