Sun, sea and spray tan – a Leyland lad has bared all for a new reality TV show.

Sean Chard, 19, of Higher Meadow, and nine other men invaded Newquay for six-part series The Hunks.

While living in a cliff-top penthouse overlooking the beach, the lads attempted to outdo each other on everything from working out, partying, surfing and success with the ladies.

They were filmed over a month last summer and the first episode, screened on Sky Living this week, saw them arrive in Cornwall and head to a ladies’ night.

Sean said: “It was just mental. I had the best time of my life, it was crazy.

“It was filmed last summer and we’ve been waiting for so long for it to come out.

“It was really weird (moving back to Leyland). Everything seemed really quiet.

“I would love to do a series two more than anything.”

During the whole month, the former Balshaw’s High School pupil stayed in for just three nights.

The Hunks in on Sky Living at 10pm on Tuesday.
