A date has now been set for the unveiling of Leyland’s next big gateway feature.

The Leyland TL Fire Engine will be revealed to the public on August 8 inside a giant glass box, in front of the Leyland Hotel on Leyland Way.

The showcase will also feature a ‘Made in Leyland’ sign and an information board about the heritage of the vehicle.

Plans were passed for the project last month.
