A well-known author popped into a Leyland primary school to help the children celebrate World Book Week.
Denis Bond visited Moss Side Primary School on Paradise Lane to chat to the children about the books they love to read.
Headteacher Janis Burden said: “They all really enjoyed the activities that we put on.
“One of the things was that they had to dress up as characters from Denis’s books so they were wizards, dragons and train driver and monsters.
“Denis worked with them on the punctuation roadshow where they learned in a fun way about where punctuation marks should go.”
