An award-winning Leyland actor and former Runshaw College student has set up his own theatre company.
Alex Moran is just 23-years-old, and has set up Thunder Road Theatre with friends Siobhan Kendall and Christopher Ward, who he met at the University of Central Lancashire.
Alex, who grew up in Leyland and went to Balshaw’s High School, won a Buxton Fringe Best Actor Award for his one man show, Tales From The Blackjack.
He also won the Jane Horrock’s Award for Outstanding Achievement and an MEN Award for Best Performance in a Studio Production.
Now, he and Christopher are starring in a production of Hyde in Preston.
Alex said: “Creating a theatre company with my two best friends is a wonderful feeling.
“To be involved in the Jekyll and Hyde story is also a dream come true.”
The production kicks off at the New Continental at 2.30pm and 7.30pm on June 3.
Tickets cost between £5 and £7 and can be pre-booked by visiting www.thunderroadtheatre.co.uk/Hyde or phoning the Continental on 01772 499425.
