A man was arrested in Preston last night after police were forced to use a stinger to stop his vehicle.

Police used 'preemptive' tactics after the man, who was driving a black Audi S3, failed to stop for officers when instructed, say police.

The stinger disabled the cars' tyres and the car was brought to a stop at around 6pm on London Road near the Capitol Centre.
