Residents in South Ribble have just one week left to put forward their views on the borough’s planning blueprint for the next 15 years.
South Ribble Council has approved the Local Development Framework document (LDF), which shows how the area could be transformed with new housing and employment areas.
Anyone wanting to have their say on any of the proposals has until next Wednesday, August 15, at 5pm.
Following consideration of comments made during this final public consultation, the council will submit the document to the government in the autumn.
If necessary, final amendments will then be made and the council will be in a position to formally adopt the new local plan next year.
The full document and feedback forms are available at the council’s Civic Centre offices in West Paddock, Leyland, as well as online at www.southribble.gov.uk/ldf
The public have been given opportunities to comment on the proposals throughout the past number of years at various stages, but this is the final chance for people to have an impact on the future of the borough.
