With Easter this weekend, there is plenty going on to ensure that Chorley and Leyland families are kept entertained.
From lunches, to egg hunts, to discounted day trips, there is something to please everyone.
For the children, Busy Bees Nursery, on Brooke Street, has organised a special holiday club.
Having started on April 2, there is now even more for the children to look forward to, including a garden dig on April 11, and a paperweight making session on April 13.
There will also be an all day visit to the Museum of Science and Industry on April 12.
For more information on the nursery, ring 0870 380 6614.
For adults who want to join in the fun, Chorley Methodist Church, on Gillibrand Walks, is playing host to a coffee morning on April 7, from 10am to noon.
The church will also be putting on an Easter egg bingo session on April 14, from 6pm-8pm.
Tickets are priced at £2 for adults £1.50 for children, and £5 for a family ticket. For more information ring Caroline Linfitt on 01257 233908.
And for anybody wanting to get out and about, then the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is holding a treasure hunt at its Ribble Discovery Centre, around Fairhaven Lake, Lytham.
Prizes will be awarded to the families who finish the trail quickest.
Julie Vale, RSPB Ribble Discovery Centre, said: “Our treasure hunt is now a well-loved Fylde cfoast.
“With families returning for the event each year, parents that began bringing toddlers are now chasing after their teens.
“It’s a great way to get the family all together out in the fresh air, enjoying wildlife and burning off some of those chocolate eggs.”
To take part, pick up a form from the centre on Sunday, April 8, to take part from 11am to 3pm.
The cost is £3 per family to enter, and there is no need to book.
