Marti Pellow is coming to town
Heartthrob Marti Pellow is coming to the area to reprise his role in a smash-hit musical.
The former Wet Wet Wet star is staring in 'Chicago' when it comes to Preston's Charter Theatre between February 1 - 6.
The hit-maker, who had 12 top ten hits in the 1990s, first played the role of Billy Flynn in the West End and later in New York on Broadway.
Now, he and the rest of the cast are taking the show on tour for six weeks.
Actress Emma Barton, best known for playing Honey Mitchell in Eastenders, also stars.
The show, which has been adapted into a movie staring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Richard Gere, won a Laurence Olivier Award when it debuted in London in 1997.
It has played to sell-out audiences in New York and across the US and productions are currently planned for Japan, Holland and Spain.
The UK tour is produced by David Ian Productions in association with the Broadway producers Barry and Fran Weissler.
