Chorley Bridgfords recently joined more than 1,300 branches throughout the UK in the national ‘MOVE’ Open House Weekend.
The event was designed to generate interest in the homes by showcasing them to the widest possible audience. All the properties benefited from an innovative range of national, regional and local marketing initiatives.
Jonathan Corless, regional sales director for Bridgfords, said: “Activity levels usually peak in the spring and then dip during the summer, as holidays take people’s focus away from moving home. However, that hasn’t happened this year, with the upturn in the housing market encouraging those looking to buy.”
Bridgfords believes the trend will continue into the autumn, with buyers keen to move before Christmas.
Warren Barlow, senior branch manager for Bridgfords in Chorley, said: “As with previous events, the ‘MOVE’ Open House Weekend has been extremely successful, and we have already agreed sales, subject to contract, on eight participating propertie, with offers still being negotiated on several others.
“The ‘MOVE’ Open House Weekend is another example of the innovative ways in which we are helping sellers achieve their moving ambitions. Gone are the days when you could simply erect a ‘for sale’ board and wait for a buyer to come along.
“Today’s sellers need to use every available tool to get properties noticed.
“With over 180 years of experience and more local offices than any other agent, no-one does more than Bridgfords to achieve a sale at the best price.”
