More jobs are being created as a Leyland pub is re-opening after a £221,000 makeover.

The Old Leyland Gates, on Golden Hill Lane, will open its doors next Tuesday, March 31, as a Flaming Grill pub restaurant.

“We’re sure that regulars and new guests alike will be impressed with the improved look and feel of the Old Leyland Gates”

Manager Nick Wells

It closed temporarily last Tuesday, March 17, to begin an extensive refurbishment which includes new décor, furniture and kitchen equipment, as well as a new chargrill menu focused on steaks and grills, delivered on hot skillets.

General manager, Nick Wells, said: “My team and I are really excited about the new features of the pub, especially the new menu.
