This week’s Leyland court listings.

A drink driver has been fined £110 and banned from driving for 17 months. Kieran John Haworth, 24, from North Road, Bretherton, pleaded guilty. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20, costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a criminal courts charge of £150. His disqualification will be reduced by 17 weeks if he completes a course by September next year.

A woman has confessed to breaking a 30mph speed limit. Cheryl Dawes, 32, from Dunkirk Lane, Leyland, was fined £40 and had three points added to her licence. She must also pay a £20 victim surcharge, and costs of £85.

A speeding driver has been fined £145 and had four points added to her licence. Sarah-Jane Downing, 42, from Cuerden Avenue, Leyland, pleaded guilty to driving faster than the 30mph limit. She must also pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 in costs.

A woman has been fined £440 for breaking a 30mph speed limit. The case of Siobhan Carole Gough, 26, from Alder Close, Leyland, was proved in her absence. Four points were added to her licence, and she was also ordered to pay a £44 victim surcharge and £85 in court costs.

A man has been fined £660 for failing to give information to police about a driver accused of committing an offence. The case of Jack Draper, 38, from Farington Gate, Leyland, was proved in his absence. Six points were added to his driving licence, and he must also pay a £66 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

A woman has admitted to speeding. Rebecca Averall, 30, from Muirfield Close, Euxton, drove faster than a 30mph limit. Three points have been added to her licence, and she must pay a £135 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 in court costs.

A speeding driver has been fined £60. Karl Andrew Roberts, 47, from Hillside Crescent, Whittle-le-Woods, confessed to breaking the 30mph speed limit. He must also pay a £20 victim surcharge, and costs of £85. Three points were also added to his licence.
