Leyland Live expands to offer family fun during the daytime

A Punch and Judy show, music taster sessions and a vintage fair are all part of the new line-up of Leyland Live’s daytime activities next week.

As well as a variety of acts performing live music in venues around the town centre on the evenings of Friday and Saturday, March 27 and 28, family fun events have also been announced for the afternoons of Saturday and Sunday.

They include an Easter biscuit decorating workshop at the United Reformed Church, musical instrument taster sessions at Rimmers, book readings at Leyland Library, a caricature artist at Ice Dreams and Coffee Beans, and face painting at Woman.

There will also be a vintage fair held at the British Commercial Vehicle Museum on both days, featuring classic cars, retro wares, fashion through the decades and more live music.

Leyland Leisure Centre will host some special fitness classesd, and there will be Punch and Judy shows at Leyland Methodist Church.

People will be able to participate in any of the activities if they present their Leyland Live wristband.

They cost £5 and includes entry to all of the venues over the whole weekend, from the daytime attractions to the evenings’ entertainment, and wristbands are on sale now from all of the participating businesses.
