Blockbuster comes to Leyland

The summer's smash-hit movie is coming to the big screen in Leyland this weekend.

Disney-Pixar's Toy Story 3 is showing at the Leyland Cinema at the Civic Centre, in West Paddock, on Sunday, 12 September.

The third and final instalment in the Toy Story series, Toy Story 3 sees the toys mistakenly delivered to a day-care centre instead of the attic right before Andy leaves for college. It's up to Woody to convince the other toys that they weren't abandoned and to return home.

Toy Story 3 was released worldwide this summer and became the highest-grossing animated film of all time after crossing the $1 billion global box office mark last month.

Tickets are on sale now (adults 4 under-16s 2). Buy them from the Coppice Restaurant, Civic Centre, or Worden Park Coffee Shop, Worden Park.

Leyland Cinema is a South Ribble Borough Council regeneration initiative which brings the big screen to the town.

Showings use the latest technology and Dolby sound systems, and there will be a 10 minute interval after one hour. Doors 1.30pm, film starts at 2pm.
