The Friends of Bank Hall are holding an open evening for people interested in volunteering.
Previously known as Bank Hall Action Group, the Friends have been campaigning and fundraising for 18 years to save the grade II*-listed Jacobean mansion in Bretherton.
Most of the funding has now been secured and work is due to start this year to restore the hall.
There are also plans to convert potting sheds and greenhouses into a visitor centre with exhibition, shop and kitchen.
Volunteers over the age of 16 are wanted for tasks including fundraising, event organisation, guided tours, serving refreshments and cleaning.
The open evening will be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday, March 18 at Mere Brow Village Hall.
There will be presentations on the work of the Friends, a history of the hall and how to get involved with volunteering.
The evening also includes displays and refreshments.
