Hero’s send off for X Factor star

JonJo leaving party at Chorley FC

Singing soldier JonJo Kerr was given a hero’s send off at Chorley FC.

The 28-year-old, who appeared on this year’s X Factor, is set to fly out to war-torn Afghanistan later this month and his friends and family gathered at the club to say their goodbyes. And, it was their turn to take to the microphone after the father-of-two laid on karaoke for them to enjoy.

He was also presented with a leaving card from the football club and a Chorley FC shirt which he will be taking on tour with him. He said: “The hardest thing is going to be leaving my wife Mel and sons Bradley and Dominic. I’m really going to miss them.”
