Leyland Artists attracted a whole host of visitors to the grand opening of their special exhibition of work in the town last week.
Around 70 paintings are on display at the South Ribble Museum and Exhibition Centre in Church Road, Leyland, in watercolours, acrylics, oils and mixed mediums.
Local art clubs were invited to send representatives to the opening, and the Mayor of South Ribble, Coun Dorothy Gardner, also attended.
The ‘Leyland Artists at Home Spring Exhibition of Art’ will on show until May.
The museum is open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10am until 4pm, Thursdays 1pm until 4pm, and Saturdays 10am until 1pm.
