More than 140 homes affected by power cut

An underground cable fault has caused a power cut in Leyland today (Thursday).

Electricity North West says that 147 customers are affected, and the problem is mainly around the Wade Brook Road and Wray Crescent area of the town.

The first report was received at 12.20pm, and engineers are on site now trying to resolve the issue.

There is no estimated time of when the power will be restored.

Customers can call Electricity North West on 0800 1954141 if they have any queries.
