Naked man is seen doing star jumps

Police are appealing for information to help them identify a naked man who was seen on two separate occasions walking around Penwortham.

In the first incident, a man was seen naked apart from a pair of shoes and glasses at around 6.35am on February 19, walking on Hill Road South.

Two days later he was seen doing star jumps at around 6.45am on New Lane and Park Lane.

The man is described as being white and aged in his 20s, wearing glasses.

Police are linking two incidents and are appealing for the public’s help to track the man down.

Detective Sergeant Richard Horton, from South Ribble CID, said: “We’re appealing for anyone with knowledge about these incidents or with information as to who the man is to come forward.

“We would ask any members of the public seeing this man to call the police straight away on 101.”
