A new wine bar and restaurant will open in Leyland this weekend.
Da Vinci will open its doors at the Wellington Park Hotel on Church Road on Saturday.
The former English cuisine restaurant, called Bentley’s, has been replaced with a trendy new bar, which will sell wines by the glass ranging from £3 to £4.25, and by the bottle from £13.50 to £35.
There will also be a choice of Champage and other drinks.
Downstairs, the former Italian restaurant called La Scala is now part of the Da Vinci package, and will still serve Italian food.
Karen Caddock, sales and marketing manager, said: “We’re really looking forward to the launch and we think this is the first time Leyland has had a proper, sophisticated wine bar.
“It’s like a brand new concept in dining has arrived in the town.
“People can have food in the bar area, or they have just have drinks and go downstairs to the basement for an evening meal.”
A VIP night this Friday will have performers, and will open to the public on Saturday.
Opening hours are midday until late for the bar, and 5pm until 10pm for the restaurant.
