A former housing association office in Moss Side is set to be converted into flats.
The Accent Housing Foundation, which manages homes in the Robin Hey area of Leyland, closed its office in Alder Close in November, arguing it did not offer good value for money, and relocated to Burnley.
Now, the firm is set to convert the space, which used to be three homes, into six flats for its tenants, after gaining planning approval by South Ribble Council.
Planning documents read: “As the property is located within a residential area there has been no interest from any other party to leasing these offices, so it seems logical to convert the space back to residential accommodation.
“The flats will be tenanted by Accent Group tenants and will not be sold to private individuals.”
