Rottweiler saved from fire

The fire at an industrial unit in Euxton

A Rottweiler dog was rescued from a fire at a commercial premises in Euxton last night (Thursday).

Fire crews from Chorley were called at 7.50pm.

The ground and first floors of the Wigan Road property were on fire and smoke was seen coming from the roof.

A spokesman said the animal was not injured.
