Sister's tribute to tragic Aimee

'Beautiful inquisitive, talented'.

They're just some of the latest tributes for tragic Leyland schoolgirl Aimee Critchley who was found hanged at her home in Leyland.

The 13-year-old, who was a pupil at All Hallows High School, Penwortham, was found in her bedroom by her mother on Monday evening.

She was taken to Royal Preston Hospital but was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.

Her sister Nathasja Critchley, 18, said: "Aimee was the sweetest little girl I could ever dream of having as a little sister. The day she became part of our family we were truly blessed.

"Beautiful, inquisitive, talented, caring and always fun to be around, she was in a word: perfect.

"I have come to believe that she was an angel who came down from heaven to bless everyone she ever met and had an impact on their lives. God obviously realised that he wanted her back in her purple paradise up in heaven.

"She has truly made an amazing impact on this world, and although she is no longer with us in body she will always be with us in spirit and forever holds a precious place in our hearts.

"Sleep tight little purple winged angel. We will never forget you and we know you will always look after us from your cloud. Rest in peace Aimee, my little butterfly, we all love you so much sis."

Stephen Stafford, 36, Nathasja's boyfriend, said: "The first time I ever met Aimee she was inquisitive, charming and straight to the point, which I admired in such a young lady.

"Perfect is a word used rarely, but that is exactly what Aimee was, perfect in every way possible, you will never meet a more caring young lady full of joy and a smile so warming. My heart and thoughts are with her family... sleep well our angel you will never be forgotten.

"With the brightest smile and your warming heart you will be missed now we are apart. To carry on your life from up above sadly you'll b missed but still always loved. Rest in peace Aimee, sleep well, love Ste."
