More than 1,000 Beavers, Cubs and Scouts joined this year’s St George’s Day parade in Leyland.
A special service was held at St Mary’s Church in Broadfield Drive on Sunday before a procession from the church to Worden Park.
Crowds lined the streets to watch what the Mayor of South Ribble described as an ‘excellent’ event.
Coun Dorothy Gardner said: “It was beautiful watching the little ones with all the badges on their sleeves.
“And the work that has gone on is incredible – it’s all voluntary and the leaders spend all their time working with these young people. It was excellent.”
Bands played all the way from the church to the park, as the rain held off for the special day.
