Vintage enthusiasts enjoyed a ‘retro’ day out in Leyland last weekend.
Prized classic cars, live swing music and dancing was all part of the fun at the Vintage and Retro event at the Leyland Hotel on Sunday.
Organiser Christine Clarke, who runs her own business called Bijou and Vintage, said: “It was a fabulous day, it was a great mix of people.
“It was more of an event rather than a fair, which is what I wanted because vintage has grown and it is not just for the fashionistas anymore.
“We had classic cars, swing singers and stalls of people selling vintage items.
“It brings people with a similar interest together. A few people came up to me and said it was the best vintage fair they have ever been to.
“A lot of people spent all day at there which is always a good sign, that tells me they enjoyed it.
“I organised a vintage bridal fair at the Pines Hotel and that is where I met the owners of the Leyland Hotel, now I run a vintage event there every other month.”
Singer Katie Mustang and the North West Swing Dance Club entertained crowds.
