Members of the Leyland Model Railway Club enjoyed welcoming guests to the first open day of the year this weekend.
Held at St Mary’s Priory Club on Broadfield Drive on Saturday, the well-attended event gave members the opportunity to showcase what they have been working on throughout the winter.
There was a second-hand stand, which secretary Fred Stableford says is always popular with visitors at events, and a couple of traders were on hand too.
Fred said: “The main event for us is the big exhibition in August, but this was a good chance for members to show what they have been up to recently.”
