A murder investigation has been launched after the body of a man was found in a flat in Leyland.
Police were called to Westfield Drive on Sunday, where the body of John Adam Leatherbarrow was discovered.
A Home Office post mortem found the 37-year-had died from a stab wound.
A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police are waiting to question him, as he has been treated for injuries at the Royal Preston Hospital.
The flat is on the corner of Westfield Drive and Redwood Avenue, close to Worden Sports College.
It emerged yesterday that the victim’s family only found out about the tragedy after locals began talking about it on Facebook.
Their worst nightmares were realised when they arrived at the address and found it swarming with police and forensic experts.
