A pervert, who drilled a hole in a garden fence to expose his genitals, has been found guilty of indecent exposure.
Chorley Magistrates Court heard how Philip Graham Halton already had a police caution for performing a sex act in public while wearing a lime green dress.
The court heard he had also served six months on probation some years ago, after being caught stealing ladies’ underwear off washing lines.
The 48-year-old, of Bamber Bridge, who is now bailed to an address in Chorley, was arrested for the latest incident on December 29, but pleaded not guilty at an earlier court hearing.
Outlining the case against him, prosecutor Tim Heap said a woman saw what she described as a flesh coloured object coming through one of the fence panels.
Mr Heap said: “Initially she thought it was a finger, but when she looked again she noticed it was in fact a penis.
“She could not see the person behind the panel – just a hand on the top of the fence.”
Mr Heap said the woman ran straight upstairs to look out of the window, in an attempt to catch the person responsible.
After hearing more than two hours of evidence, the three magistrates retired to consider their verdict, and found the man guilty of indecent exposure.
They adjourned the case for sentencing on March 25, to allow reports to be compiled.
