The sun came out for Leyland’s St George’s Day parade on Sunday organised by the South Ribble District Scouts.

Around 1,200 youngsters from 24 troops including Leyland, Farington, Penwortham, Lostock Hall and Bamber Bridge marched from Leyland St Mary’s RC Parish Church to Worden Park, following a short outdoor service.

A number of fun activities had also been set up at the park for the afternoon, including a coconut shy and other games.
