Plans to build new homes on the former Roadferry site have resurfaced.

Peel Holdings Land and Property received outline permission in 2010 to build 60 houses on the same site.

This latest Rowland Homes reserved matters application - an application for approval of reserved matters follows outline approval - also includes associated infrastructure, including appearance, landscaping, layout and scale. When all of the reserved matters have been approved, work may begin. The previous plans, after being, submitted were passed in May 2013.

Launched in 1993, Rowland Homes has its head office at Farington House, Stanifield Business Park, Stanifield Lane, Leyland. The developer builds news homes throughout the North West and North Wales. No one from Rowland Homes was available for comment.
