The Rotary Club of Leyland has celebrated its 59th charter with a special get together.
More than 60 people attended the anniversary event at the Farington Lodge Hotel in Stanifield Lane, Farington, Leyland.
Guests, which included the Mayor and Mayoress of South Ribble, Coun Colin Clark and his wife Margaret and the Rotary District Governor David Simpson and his wife Janet, enjoyed a three course meal the hotel and were entertained by magician Peter Turner.
The club holds a charter evening every January to mark the day it was granted its charter from Rotary International.
Other guests at the event included the club’s president Terry Webster, and presidents of neighbouring Rotary Clubs, including Preston South, South Ribble and Chorley Astley.
