Glamorous calendars produced by Leyland’s famous vehicle museum have proved such a hit, a new version has now been made for 2014.

And along with the updated ‘Leyland – She’s a Lady’ calendar, the British Commercial Vehicle Museum has also released a new calender focusing on vehicles.

Volunteers at the King Street attraction, which opened its doors for the 2013 season last week,
have delved into the museum’s vast archives to unearth some artwork of vehicles from years gone by.

Trustee Stephen Bullock said: “We wanted to do another Leyland Ladies calendar because they sold so well for 2013.

“We already had some of the portraits in the museum’s exhibition which hadn’t been used in the last calendar, so that gave us a good start.

“But then we also decided to make a new calendar featuring artwork of vehicles, which we’re hoping will be just as popular with our visitors.”
