1 What appealed to you most about the property?
Its location. Although a new house, the road which it is on has a country lane feel. It is a very quiet cul-de-sac with only houses on my side of the road.
2 How long have you lived in the property?
I have lived here for six happy years. I bought the house on my own and shortly afterwards had my daughter.
3 What have you done to the house since moving into the property?
Almost everything cosmetically. I have replaced the en-suite, main bathroom and downstairs cloakrooms with high end fixtures and fittings. All rooms have been fully refurbished and Amtico flooring put in the hallway and kitchen. New statement cast iron gates have also been installed to the front of the property and a marble fire surround in the main lounge. Old fashioned coving and ceiling roses have been removed and replaced by simple clean lines.
4 Why are you selling?
I want to downsize as I don’t really need a house this size.
5 What is your favourite room and why?
My bedroom. This room is very large as it is basically two bedrooms made into one. I like it because it feels so spacious and luxurious. There is a section of the room which is dedicated to dressing, incorporating four double wardrobes and a recliner chair. It is very peaceful but also provides a massive space for my daughter to walk her dolls!
6 What will you miss most about moving?
The quiet lane on which my daughter can play so safely on her bike etc. I will also miss the electric door of the garage which makes parking so hassle free especially in the rain.
7 How close are the amenities?
Booths is very convenient and only a short stroll through a path at the end of the lane. Liverpool Road and Pope Lane are a couple of minutes away by car and have a vast selection of shops. Close by are several excellent primary and secondary schools.
8 To whom would this property be best suited?
Anybody really. I bought it as a single lady and have been very happy here. However, to use all the rooms it probably suits a family best. It may even appeal to families who have an elderly relative living with them.
