Bamber Bridge 2 AFC Flyde 4

With the play-offs and relegation out of the question for Bamber Bridge, their fans can expect more frills and spills like this six-goal thriller on Saturday.

Tony Greenwood will have been pleased to have seen his team pose more of a threat up front but he'll be pulling his hair out at the four goals his team conceded against local rivals AFC Fylde.

Chris Marlow opened the scoring for Brig after just seven minutes but Ryan Elderton equalised 13 minutes later.

Bamber Bridge's Chris Brown restored the home side's advantage after 56 minutes and at 2-1 most of the crowd of 259 would have been confident of a much-needed win.

However AFC Fylde had other ideas and late goals from Jadon Dodwell (65 minutes), Matt Walwyn (81 minutes) and a penalty from Joe Booth meant they ran out 4-2 winners.

At this rate the season can't finish soon enough for Brig.

More details to come.
