“It was a really good result and to get our first home win in the league was even better.

I was pleased with the first 20 minutes as we seemed to carry on from where we left in the game against Guiseley last week.

We were 2-0 up in that spell which helped alot and could have had more.

We did get a bit disappointed after that because we took our foot off the gas.

I think that the lads got themselves in a position where they thought that the win would just be a walk in the park but you cannot do that because you will get punished.

So the level of our performance in the second half was a huge problem.

However, the boss (Neil Crowe) and I were not too stressed about it because we would have just settled for three points as long as we win.

The most important thing about it was that we got our first win.

Now we can try to kick on from here and get more wins from here and try to rise up the table where we feel that we should be.”
