Brig chairman says it's like starting the season again
Bamber Bridge chairman Terry Gammans fears for other non-league football clubs as they struggle to generate revenue from fans passing through their gates.
The QED Stadium outfit had their match with Trafford called off at the weekend because of the thick blanket of snow at the ground.
Since the start of December, Brig have only played three matches as their games with Mossley, Chorley and Skelmersdale United have had to be rescheduled due to the weather.
Now Mr Gammans says it will be like starting the season all over again when the action finally begins.
He said: "It is really frustrating that we have to wait to find out when we play again.
"I know that it is affecting everyone with the facilities have been shut down – there are teams in league football who have used under-soil heating which has not got rid of the snow.
"We are not getting people through the gates, using the clubhouse or taking advantage of sponsorship or our corporate facilities.
"We are lucky that the club has been well supported by our sponsors who have been keeping the club running smoothly as we wait to get playing
again.
"I think there will be lot more clubs who are suffering because of the weather and we may have to look at our budgets again if we don't play
soon.
Meanwhile, manager Tony Greenwood is still waiting to reach a milestone in his next match which will be his 400th game in charge of the club.
Greenwood had been scheduled to take charge of his 400th match at the club against Chorley on Boxing Day.
Weather permitting Brig are due to travel to Garforth Town on Saturday but Gammans believes it is unlikely to be given the go-ahead.
