Bamber Bridge FC have just scooped their first piece of silverware of season – and assistant boss Neil Reynolds believes it is only the start of their success .

Evo-Stik League bosses were at the QED Stadium on Saturday to present Terry Gammans with the Fair Play Award for March to the club.

The silverware was for the club’s good disciplinary record in the past month.

Neil Reynolds said: “We are really happy about it.

“Some might say that it means you are a soft team but that is not the case.

“We have only had three bookings in the past month. It is all to do with the way the boss (Neil Crowe) has us set up.

“He will fine us if we talk back to the referee and wants us to respect the

officials.

“We have a good squad and hopefully this is the start of a good thing.”
