Bamber Bridge sealed at least fourth place in the Evo-Stik North Division One with a convincing victory at New Mills.
Darren Green opened the scoring and Stuart Vasey added a second, seven minutes before the interval.
Brandon Windsor restored hope for the hosts on the stroke of half-time.
But the game was put to bed in the 55th minute when Vasey found the net for the second time.
And shortly after the hour, Bamber Bridge academy product Regan Linney scored his second goal for the club.
Victory for Brig ensures they will face Northwich Victoria in the play-offs.
Should Brig defeat Farsley AFC on Saturday and Northwich Victoria drop points, they will seal a home play-off tie against Jim Gannon’s side.
It was a routine victory for the visitors, with Green’s goal rebounding in off the crossbar in the 15th minute.
Brig continued to dominate with midfield maestro Paul McKenna putting in another stand out performance, and Vasey scored when he headed in Waddecar’s cross before Windsor rifled a shot past Dovey.
Brig made it three when Vasey nestled a shot into the corner before sub Linney made an instant impact rocketing a shot past Liam Higginbotham.
Linney’s pace caused havoc and late on, he struck the post with a rasping 25-yard effort.
