Jason Robinson joins the Guardian
England rugby legend Jason Robinson is one of the big names set to take part in a charity game with a difference in Chorley.
Chorley's Windsor Park will be hosting a Twenty/20 game between a Chorley and Leyland Guardian All Stars XI and Northern Galloway's Visually Impaired Cricket Club.
The match on Friday August 13 has been arranged as part of Chorley Cricket Club's centenary celebrations and a collection at the ground will be in aid of St Catherine's Hospice in Lostock Hall.
World Cup winner Robinson, who has shocked the rugby world by deciding to play for Fylde next season, will be joined in the Guardian All Stars team by a number of BBC Radio
Lancashire presenters, including Ted Robbins, Steve Royle, Stephen Lowe, Keith Fletcher and Guardian columnist Dave Swanton.
Northern Galloway's Visually Impaired Cricket Club help children and adults with a vision impairment in the North of England to play cricket.
The game starts at 5.30pm and all are welcome.
