An experimental art project can still be seen at UCLan’s Hanover Building in Bhailok Street until Friday.
‘Index’ started out as an online open project, seeking submissions which “must have already been used to communicate, or be communicative in their own right”.
All submissions have been removed from their original context, breaking the messages or ideas for which they were created.
Using Index as a container, an exhibition space and a story telling device, the submissions have been edited to create pairs or combinations of images that can be interpreted as new narratives.
A spokesman for The Hanover Project said: “The book is an experimental exchange of out-of-context, repurposed text and image.
“We look forward to seeing you at Hanover Project.”
Opening hours are 10amto 6pm until Friday.
Index is supported by the Contemporary Arts Development Group. For more information visit hanoverproject.wordpress.com
