The West End of Morecambe will again be lit up by hundreds of homemade lanterns in December.
The Lantern Festival supported by charity More Music will go ahead on Wednesday December 11, and there will as ever be opportunities to get involved.
Every year, local residents wrap up in their warmest clothes and head off into the night on a torchlight street procession.
And the result is magical.
There will be two lantern making workshops in the lead-up to the festival, one at the Community Christmas Fair on Sunday 1 December from 10.30am-3.30pm one on Sunday 8 December from 11am to 3.30pm.
Both workshops are free and at the Hothouse More Music’s Devonshire Road base. To get involved or find out more call 01524 831997 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
