53 Degrees is excited to host ‘Hey Preston!’, an all-day music event bringing headliners Heaven’s Basement and Blitz Kids together with a carefully curated selection of rocking gems from across the region on Saturday 20 September.

Headlining Hey Preston are London four piece Heaven’s Basement ‘an absolute machine of riffs and soaring vocals’.

Debut album ‘Filthy Empire’ has been hailed as one of the most exciting and fresh sounding heavy rock releases in years, and since its release the band has been taking their electrifying live show across the globe.

Next on the bill, Nantwich boys Blitz Kids will be bringing their much vaunted live show to the 53 Degrees stage.

New album ‘The Good Youth’, released earlier this year via Red Bull Records, is a perfect example of the recent punk revival, exuding attitude aplenty, catchy choruses and a contemporary vibe.

Joining them are some of the biggest and best names from Preston’s rocking local scene, including Failsafe a heavy yet melodic band who infamously appeared in the most recent series of hit TV show The Inbetweeners.

Other home-grown talent includes bouncy Preston favourites Next Stop Atlanta, innovative ‘punk-step’ band The Karma Party, who combine heavy guitars and rap with cutting edge electronics, Carlisle’s Colt 45, punk-rockers RotcoR and math-rock band Go Around Captain who met whilst studying at UCLan.

This awesome line-up has been put together by LowBlowPromo, the brainchild of Jed Saint.

Having recently graduated from Peter Hook’s Music Industry Management MA, Jed already has already worked with the likes of Peter Hook & The Light, ex-808 State rapper MC Tunes, and Inspiral Carpet / XFM DJ Clint Boon.

‘Hey Preston!’ looks set to be the start of an illustrious career for Jed.
