A fun show written by soprano Li Li and veteran director Stephen Tiller comes to Lancaster Grand Theatre next Thursday.

I Want To Sing Opera is the touching tale of a tea lady with a huge talent. Who is she? Why is she not a professional singer? She should be! What’s her story? What is she hiding?

Some of the most famous opera arias ever are performed including: Nessun Dorma, Che Gelida Manina, Libiam, Madam Butterfly, Tosca, Barber of Seville, and a few surprises…

Li Li is an international singer who had the honour to sing for Andrea Bocelli (who accompanied her on piano), and reached the US charts singing an unorthodox duo with Sir Christopher Lee. Accompanying tenor is Edward Hughes and baritone David Milner-Pearce. Box Office: 01524 64695 or www.lancastergrand.co.uk
