The 10th anniversary of a popular Preston music pub is to be celebrated with a day of music.
From 2003, The Mitre, on Moor Lane, in the city, was a hub for many local bands and music fans.
Sadly, the pub finally closed its doors for the last time in 2005 and the building converted into a vets surgery.
But the pub’s last landlord, Robert Clarke, is celebrating the anniversary of his taking over with a gig at the New Continental on Saturday October 12.
Many bands who played The Mitre but have since dissolved will reform for this special one off show, including Phlegm Fatales, Los Vencidos, Baby Bitch, Frencheryk and The Lost Cause Collective.
Tickets are £3.95, online from www.themitreevent.co.uk
