Korova Arts Cafe welcomes its biggest music star to date this month when Nick Harper plays the Preston venue on November 15
Nick, son of 60s folk legend Roy Harper. has also forged his own legendary career teaming up with Glen Tilsbrook, Squeeze and releasing a number of highly acclaimed solo albums.
Nick made his recording debut on his father’s album Whatever Happened to Jugula? in 1985.
Widely acclaimed as a virtuoso acoustic guitarist – and once dubbed ‘the accoustic Hendrix’ – Nick is a brilliant songwriter and an unmissable live performer.
Having played guitar from the age of 10 and been surrounded by the likes of Keith Moon, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and Dave Gilmour as he grew up, it is fair to say Nick’s has been a life in music,
A spokesman for Korova said they were delighted to be welcoming Nick, and said the venue was going from strength to strength.
Owner Sam Buist has plans for a number of large eventsin 2015, including the return of K-Stock in August.
Promoter Owen McGough is forging ahead with his Classic Rock Night at Korova and planning a new series of his comedy and magic show.
