It’s Christmas and Paul Richards is getting excited.
Far too excited for a 32-year-old, but it is the most wonderful time of the year, after all.
Deciding to ignore the suggestion that a “girlfriend is for life, not just for Christmas”, our stumbling storyteller sets off on a journey of self-discovery in a bid to forget about his disastrous year, learn a few magic tricks and finally find happiness – aided by his boombox and a CD full of hit yuletide tunes.
Three comic plays in a frantic 70 minutes, Some Christmas Plays By Paul Richards features an awkward Santa, an elf, some terrible puns and quick costume changes.
The show will be performed at Korova Arts Café & Bar in Charnley Street, Preston on December 7 from 8pm.
