Buddy Holly and the Cricketers - Britain's longest- running Buddy Holly show

A fantastic tribute show to rock and roll legend Buddy Holly comes to Lytham’s Lowther Pavilion on Saturday.

Buddy Holly and the Cricketers features all of the tragic US star’s greatest hits.

And the band also play many other smashes from the same era, including tunes from Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, The Everly Brothers, Little Richard and The Beatles.

The show first began in November 1992 and is still as fresh and popular today as it was back then.

It features top class actor/musicians of the highest calibre, many of whom have performed in top West End shows, as they recreate the heady era when rock and roll was just being discovered in a show which always gets its audiences dancing in the aisles.

Doors open at 8pm and tickets are £17.50 or £16.50 for children and concessions from the box office on 01253 794 221.
