In the wake of recent stories about kidnap victims, actress and writer Rosie MacPherson is set to perform her new theatre show Inside at The Lowry Studio in Salford before heading to Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
It’s a psychological drama that explores the effects of Stockholm Syndrome on a kidnap victim desperate to keep hope.
Rosie explains: “Researching the show I was overwhelmed by the victims’ determination to survive and the psychological methods they used to get through each day – stories which will hopefully inspire the audience in the same way. “The recent escape in Ohio shows there’s still hope for others.”
Rosie has recently been cast in the new Nicole Kidman film Before I Go To Sleep.
The play is performed next Thursday and Friday.
